Road-tripping Switzerland’s coffee culture—ending at the World of Coffee in Geneva!

HEY! i’M YOUR host, Sandro.

2024 World Coffee in Good Spirits Runner-Up and Two-time Swiss Coffee in Good Spirits Champion in a row. What began as a fun 100-day coffee and cocktail challenge during the pandemic led me to compete—turning passion into podium finishes on the world stage.

Since I began competing two years ago, I’ve had the chance to meet so many incredible people across the coffee and spirits industry—people whose passion and craft truly deserve the spotlight. With this year’s World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship happening right here in my home country, I want to showcase Switzerland’s vibrant and growing coffee scene to the world.

We’ll be hitting the road for a journey across Switzerland—stopping by specialty cafés, roasteries, and distilleries—before wrapping up at the World of Coffee Festival in Geneva. Come along as we celebrate the people and places shaping Swiss coffee culture!

TRAVEL PLANS

We’ll follow a scenic route through Switzerland’s most iconic landmarks—natural wonders and architectural gems—while making key stops at four standout destinations along the way:

Specialty Coffee Cafés – Discovering unique specialty coffee spots and their passionate baristas.
Roasteries – Exploring the craft behind Switzerland’s finest coffee beans and learning what it takes to get a cup of coffee right.
Distilleries – Uncovering the art of local spirits and demonstrating innovative coffee cocktail creations.
Local Businesses – Highlighting artisans and entrepreneurs that contribute to the coffee scene.

Making our way to the main stop: Geneva where the 2025 World of Coffee Festival will be held and finishing off the rest of the route to our journey back home.
